Hi everyone,
I have a 2003 Santa Fe.
It seems like I get the weirdest issues, but I noticed the other day that one of the lower pieces of rubber stripping where glass and plastic cowling meet on the windshield (where the wipers are) has shifted a good 2-3 inches over and now is hanging loose on the corner of the windshield.
I am guessing the car wash at the dealership did this as I can only think that would/could do this and I only get it washed in a car wash at the dealership.
I dunno if this is letting water into somewhere it should not, as it appears there was already a bit of a gap there (in the middle, I can see where the rubber used to be on the windshield and there still was a bit of a gap).
So I am hoping it is just there to stop vibrations, but is there a way I can re-seat this myself and not have to go into the dealer? Is there a screw or something that I can undo to take that plastic off and re-seat the rubber stripping?
I will say right now I have not had a chance to get under the hood at the moment to check, but was hoping to get an answer before starting to guess what to undo to be able to get that plastic piece up enough to slide that peice of rubber stripping back over where it belongs...
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
