I noticed in the Santa Fe manual it says "it is recommended that the spark plug (for engine 2.7L) should be changed by an authorized Hyundai dealer."
I assume this is because the spark plugs for cylinders 1, 3, and 5 (closest to the firewall) have the Surge Tank for the intake manifold over the top of them? Does this Surge Tank have to be removed before you remove and install these spark plugs? I think it does because the plugs sit down into the valve covers a good 10" and you wouldn't be able to get a ratchet extension in there. If so, that is one hell of a job just to install spark plugs.....damn!
