The shorter the trips and the more stops you encounter, the MPG drop like a rock.

I'm getting 18.5 on a daily commute of about 7 miles that's 50% freeway and 50% city (lots of stops). And that's w/ a K&N plus 10W-30 synth oil and 87 octane Chevron fuel.

On a road trip, however, w/ heavy use of Cruise Control, very few stops, and light traffic, I got 27-30 MPG.

This is one porky beast, as the MPG reflects, and as you'll realize when you have to make a *hard* stop. Even w/ 4W disc brakes, it takes some distance to stop.
