Hey ddloyd,

1975 called, they want your impressions of a North American GM made diesel engine back.

Diesels have come a long way. They have the ability to meet the Califronia emmisions standards. They are very peppy thanks to intercooled turbocharging. I can't remember the last time I saw a gas station that doesn't sell diesel fuel. Ya, they rattle a bit at idle but that's it.

Can't talk to the need to bleed the fuel lines if you run out - never heard that one.
