Wow - fast replies...

Unfortunately the TV is not liberal at all...
Almost everything that is not original has to be inspected by them. For example the sports air filter: To stay legal I will have to bring my car to the TV. They will have a look if it is installed correctly (thats no prob...) AND they will measure the volume ("noise"). If its too loud, they will not accept the mod and you will have to rebuild the car. If they accept you will get the permission to go with the filter. Then you have to pay for this check and pay again for having the permission printed in your cars documents.

Germany is a bit weired in these things - there a rules for almost everything. On the other hand the TV keeps the roads as safe as possible...
Thank god we still have the Autobahn. If not signed otherwise there is no speed limit.

The performance... I do not think that there is an increase of horsepower that you will notice. Maybe you gain 2 or 3 hp but I dont think that anyone will feel a difference between 146 and 148 hp - I dont.
After installing the air filter, the revs are the same as before - the engine runs smooth. I have the feeling that the engine reacts a bit more spontaniously (did I spell this right?) when you step on the throttle. So far so good...

In my opinion everything works like before (or slightly better) and Im glad with this result. The only thing Im a bit concerned about is, if the filter will work as good as the original one (I dont want to ruin the engine because of poor filter performance). I also drive RC-cars with nitro-powered engines and know what happenes if dust and dirt gets inside...

My goal was to get some sound to the car and that worked out much better than I expected. If there is an increase in fuel economy also, I would be more than happy... Ill know about that soon.

PS:
Does anyone of you know about shipping cost for a set of altezza tail lights to Germany? Think I gotta have them too...
Do the lights do have an "E" sign (E in a circle) - if so they would be legal without TV ;-)
