Rule of thumb for performance air intake upgrades:
Cold Air Intake (CAI) - Increase HP & lower fuel economy.
Short Ram Intake (SRI) - Increase HP (about 50% of what a CAI will do) and increase fuel economy.

*I do not have personal experience in this with the 2.7 yet but will be installing an SRI shortly. This information was determined through trial and error by 2.7 liter Tiburon owners. www.newtiburon.com & www.hyundaiperformance.com
