Thanks!

I used an aftermarket filter, I think it's called a cone-filter, and it is of course a sport filter. The filter is called "Matrix", but any cone-filter will do just fine as long as it's a sport filter.

Don't forget to measure the MAF (mass airflow sensor) size for the air filter connection before you buy a filter. It is a good thing if the air filter assembly comes with a rubber connection ring, this will shrink in size to fit the MAF when tightened.

No, I have not done anything else....YET, but I will.
I will remove the air silencer crappy box, yes IT SUCKS, and I will also remove the plastic square net that's on the intake side of the MAF, just to get a little more flow of the air.

I will also change the air hoses that is left to smoother and cleaner inner walls so that air can flow even better.

I have also thought about installing a hood scoop right above the new air filter and lead cold fresh air right into the air filter, that will give the engine a small amount, but oh so important, horsepower.

Kind regards,
MT
